What is a Roundabout Bet?

A Roundabout is a variation of the Rounder bet from 3 selections. It uses conditional (any-to-come) staking in a circular pattern. If a selection wins, profits roll onto the next selection in the sequence.

Roundabout vs Rounder

Both use the same circular conditional structure (A→B, B→C, C→A). The key difference is in how the conditional stake is calculated — a Roundabout typically uses the profit (not the full return) as the conditional stake.

Example

$5 Roundabout on A (3.00), B (2.00), C (4.00). Total stake: $15.

  • Chain A→B: A wins, profit ($10) goes onto B. B at 2.00 returns $20
  • Chain B→C: B wins, profit ($5) goes onto C. C at 4.00 returns $20
  • Chain C→A: C wins, profit ($15) goes onto A. A at 3.00 returns $45
