What is a Round Robin Bet?
A Round Robin is a Trixie (3 doubles + 1 treble) combined with 3 Single Stakes About (SSA) pairs. The SSA pairs provide additional coverage and the chance for returns even when only 1 selection wins.
Breakdown
- 3 × Doubles (AB, AC, BC)
- 1 × Treble (ABC)
- 3 × SSA pairs (A↔B, A↔C, B↔C = 6 individual conditional bets)
- Total: 10 bets
How the SSA Pairs Work
Each SSA pair consists of two conditional bets. For the A↔B pair: if A wins, the return stakes on B; if B wins, the return stakes on A. This means even 1 winner can generate a return through the conditional bets.
Example
$1 Round Robin on A (3.00), B (2.50), C (4.00). Total stake: $10.
- If all 3 win: Return from Trixie bets + SSA bets = approximately $105+
- If 2 win (A and B): 1 winning double ($7.50) + SSA returns ≈ $25
- If 1 wins (A at 3.00): SSA conditional returns only ≈ $6
