Double Bet Calculator
Calculate double bet returns. A double combines two selections - both must win for a payout.
What is a Double Bet?
A double bet combines two selections into a single wager. Both selections must win for the bet to pay out. The return from the first selection becomes the stake for the second, creating a compounding effect.
How to Calculate
Return = Stake × Odds1 × Odds2
Example
$10 double on Selection A at 2.00 and Selection B at 3.00:
- Return = $10 × 2.00 × 3.00 = $60.00
- Profit = $60.00 − $10.00 = $50.00
Double vs Two Singles
Placing a $10 double gives you $60 if both win, but nothing if one loses. Placing $10 as two separate $5 singles gives you a return from either winner, but the maximum return is lower. The double concentrates risk for higher reward.
When to Use a Double
Doubles are the simplest multi-bet. They work well when you have two confident selections and want to combine their odds. Many bettors use doubles as the building blocks of full cover bets — a Trixie is essentially 3 doubles plus a treble.
