American

What is Block with Singles?
Block with Singles adds singles to the standard Block bet, creating every possible combination from singles upwards across 9 or more selections. Only 1 winner is needed for any return, but the total stake is very large.
How Many Bets?
For N selections, the total = 2^N − 1 (all possible combinations except the empty set):
- 9 selections: 511 bets
- 10 selections: 1,023 bets
- 12 selections: 4,095 bets
Block with Singles vs Block
The only difference is the addition of N singles (9 singles for 9 selections). This small increase in bets (502 → 511) provides the safety net of getting a return from any single winner.
Example
$1 Block with Singles from 9 selections at 2.50 (total stake: $511):
- If all 9 win: Returns are enormous — every single combination pays out
- If 3 win: 3 singles + 3 doubles + 1 treble = $7.50 + $18.75 + $15.63 = $41.88 (still a loss, but not total)
- If 1 wins: $2.50 from single (heavy loss but not a total wipeout)
